Wrongtown is a participatory theme camp built on creativity, collaboration, and doing things the hard way because it’s more fun that way.
We build interactive games, absurd installations, and shared spaces that invite strangers to play, laugh, and connect. We don’t do spectators. If you’re here, you’re part of it.
If that sounds like your kind of chaos — you might belong in Wrongtown.
What Being in Wrongtown Actually Means
Joining Wrongtown isn’t just camping next to cool stuff. It means:
🛠 Helping build, run, and strike the camp
🎭 Participating (not just hanging out)
🤝 Showing up for your campmates
🔥 Taking responsibility for the experience we create together
We design and operate interactive experiences that require real humans doing real work — and we have a damn good time doing it.
•A home inside a long-running, well-organized camp
•Access to large-scale interactive projects and games
•A collaborative, supportive crew that builds together
•Shared infrastructure, planning, and logistics
•A sense of ownership and pride in what we create
And yes — ridiculous stories you’ll be telling for years.
That means:
•Showing up for scheduled shifts
•Communicating clearly
•Respecting boundaries and consent
•Pitching in where needed (even when it’s not glamorous)
•Leaving the playa better than we found it
No prior build experience required — just a willingness to learn and contribute.
You’ll probably love it here if you:
•Like collaborative projects
•Enjoy problem-solving under pressure
•Appreciate organized chaos
•Value community over convenience
•Can laugh when things go sideways (because they will)
You don’t need to be an engineer, artist, or performer — but you do need to participate.
