In 2024 Wrongtown bought our ‘new to us’ generator. This was a huge capital investment that cost $10,000 but saves the camp in $4,000 in rental fees every year. Marshal is upgrading and maintaining the beast every year. If you feel so inclined, help us feed the beast below.

Infa structure Q&A

The Majority of Wrongtown lives in Trailer Swift, a 40′ trailer, and a 20′ trailer, yet to be named, in the Empire storage yard. The Generator and much of the electronics and kitchen live with Marshal in Fresno.

Wrongtown hosts two work trips to Empire every year. YOU SHOULD COME!

These trips are crutial to camp operations, we do everything from empty the grey water generated during the Burn Week to counting the number of bikes that are sutible to rent next year to Party in Gerlach and take Playa excursions. The second work trip is the fresh water trip where we load and prep all the fresh water into the trailer for the big event.

You get 30 Seconds of water. The red button turns the water on or off. People will see your naked ass. Deal with it. You get 3 showers.

If people fuck this up, you might get less than 3 showers. Dont dump water into the showers, dont pee in the showers, Don’t have sex in the showers. Shower in the showers.

The showers use the same water as the kitchen, if at any time we need to stop offering showers to protect the kitchen opers

Shit is expensive. Yearly fees add up fast; Yearly storage fee for Trailer Swift, yearly storage for Shorty, yearly delivery fee to Playa for both trailers, yearly Box truck rental too and from playa, yearly website fee.

Those fees alone start the camp cost at $9,060. Thats core infastructore storage and movement costs, no fun stuff.
